Cedar Rapids, Iowa 

Born in Manchester, Iowa, July 8, 1895. Son of Amanda and Albert C. Acres. 
Volunteered April, 1913. Enlisted in Cavalry. In Honolulu for 4 years. Later 
Headquarters Co., 57th Field Artillery. 

Additional Comments:
The attribution, "Honor Roll, Linn County, Iowa, page 64" has not been added 
and the image has been slightly optimized.
