Cedar Rapids, Iowa 

Born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, August, 1893. Son of Mary and James D. Kennedy. 
Volunteered May 14, 1917. 12th Aerial Squadron, which was placed on French 
Honor Roll. A. E. F.  Promoted to captaincy.
