Born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, October 27, 1885. Daughter of Anna and Jacob F. 
Lzicar. Graduate of German American Hospital, Chicago. Volunteered May, 1918. 
Base Hospital Unit 56. France.

An obituary for John Wanous, age 66, was published in the Cedar Rapids Evening 
Gazette, Thurs., Dec. 26, 1918, Page 8, Col. 6. Mr. Wanous died at the home of 
his sister, Mrs. Anna L. Lzicar - here the spelling was "Lzicar."
