Lieut. Harold B. Niles 

Cedar Rapids, Iowa 

Born in Wyoming, Iowa, November 28, 1890. Son of Mr. and Mrs. Willard S. Niles. 
Volunteered May 9, 1917. Enlisted as private in Headquarters Company, 16th 
Infantry. Later, 372d Infantry. Wounded October, 1918. Active service, 1st 
Division, A. E. F., France.

Willard S. Niles Jr. married Isadore Dewitt in Jones county, Iowa on June 28, 
1868. 

Willard S. Niles Jr., was buried in Wyoming, Iowa in a grave bought by Harold 
B. Niles who was of Westchester, N.Y. at the time of purchase. 

Harold B. Niles appears to be living in Des Moines with wife Ruth during the 
1920 census.
