Lieut. Richard H. Ristine * 

Cedar Rapids, Iowa 

Born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, December 27, 1895. Son of Clara and John M. 
Ristine. Volunteered May 17, 1917. Avaition Department. Trained at Austin, 
Tex., and Guerstner Field. Sent as instructor to Carnegie Tech., Plattsburg. By 
own request sent back to Guerstner Field. Killed in aeroplane accident July 23, 
1918.
