Capt. George C. Skinner, Sr. 

Cedar Rapids, Iowa 

Born in Polo, Ill., November 11, 1869. Son of Anna and George R. Skinner. 
Graduate Rush Medical College, 1914. Volunteered August 9, 1917.  M. O. T. C. 
at Ft. Riley, Kan.  In final  battles of the Champagne with Fourth French Army. 
Gassed October 12, 1918. A. E. F.
