Pvt. Thomas J. Walsh 

Cedar Rapids, Iowa 

Born 1895. Volunteered, June 1917. Co. B, 13th Engineers, U. S. Army, A. E. F.  
First regiment to be in active service.

Additional Comments:
I suspect this is the Thomas J. Walsh who died at Veterans hospital in Iowa 
City, Aug. 30, 1952. He was born Dec. 17, 1894 in Holbrook, Iowa, the son of 
Patrick & Hanora (Gray/Grey) Walsh. His wife was Lillian (Lewis) Walsh Russell 
and he had an adopted son, James Walsh.
