In the name of God Amen.

I Andrew Wray of the township of Chariton in the 

County of Lucas and state of Iowa being of sound

mind and memory and considering the uncer

tainty of this frail and transitory life do therefore

make ordain Publish and declare This to be my

last will and testament.  That is to say First

after all my lawful debts are paid and dischar

ged the residue of my Estate Real and personal  

I give bequeath and dispose of as follows to wit

to my beloved wife Charlotty the following descri

bed Real Estate to wit (The East half of the south

East quarter of section thirty four (34) township

seventy two (72) North Range twenty one (21) west.

Also the East half of the North East of the North

East of thirty five (35) township seventy two (72)

Range twenty one (21) west) Together with all of 

my personal Affects.  Likewise I make 

Constitute and appoint my said wife Charlotty

Executrix of this my last will and testatment

In witness whereof I have hereunto subscribed

my name and affixed my seal this 6th day of July in

the year of our Lord one thousand and Eight hundred

The above written instrument was subscribed by the said Andrew

Wray in our presence and acknowledged by him to each of

us and he at the same time published and declared the

above instrument so subscribed to be his last will and 

testament and we at the testation request and in his

presence have signed our names as witnefses hereto and 

written opportte our names or places of Residence

State of Iowa Lucas County

I Robert McCormick County Judge in and for said

County do hereby certify that on the first Monday of 

March 1862 to wit the 3rd day of March 1862 due notice

having been given to all parties interested. The fore

going will was proved and the same is hereby allowed

by me.  In witnefs whereof I have hereunto set my 

hand and affixed the seal of said County done

at Chariton this 3rd day of March 1862.
