From Inwood go south on 182 about 1 to 1 1/2 miles and turn right on A50
which is the same as 260th St.  Follow that till you have to turn and go
right.  Follow the paved road till you come to the first gravel road; the
pavement will curve to the west and the gravel road goes straight ahead
north.  About 1/8 mile there is a gravel road to the right that leads to the
cemetery.

1. A stone near the Lysnes graves that is under a tree.  The tree is very big and 
   has grown up around the stone.  Part of the base is on one side and part on the 
   other.  Cannot be read. 
2. Etta -- This stone is in a patch of wild growth with poison oak.  It is directly 
   to the east of a McDonald grave. 
3. L. C. C. -- This stone is near a Beck and a Sullivan grave. 
4. H. B. B.-- This stone is near a Carpenter and a Miller grave. 
5. L. A. E. -- This stone is near a Jensen and a Sogn grave. 
6. Cornelia -- This stone is near a Payne grave and is broken off. 
7. Mother -- This stone is right next to the grave of Jerome Rose. 
8. Baby -- This stone is right next to Frankie Edith Tillotson. 
9. George -- This stone is a bit to the west of a Tillotson grave. 
10. E. R. M. -- This stone is near a Lowell and a Wheeler grave. 
11. Mother -- This stone beside that of A. L. Anderson.  

Notes:  Most of the burials in the Beloit Cemetery were handled through the Anderson 
Funeral Home which is in Canton , S. D. just across the river from Beloit .  According 
to history books, the Andersons had a furniture business in Beloit before moving to 
Canton .
