First Births and Baptisms
The following is a copy of the first births and baptisms amongst the early settlers, 
along the Big Sioux River in Lyon County, Iowa as they were recorded by early  
pastors, and are still kept and preserved in the files of the Lutheran congregation, 
at Canton, South Dakota, where the first resident pastor Reverend Eilef Olson lived.
