	Irma Mathilda Christensen 90,  died Wednesday, May 25, 1988 in Omaha, 
Nebraska.
	She was born August 20, 1897, in Covell, Ill., to John and Adele 
(Munster).  On September 22, 1915, she married Chris Christensen in Onawa.  He 
died April 23, 1979, in Woodbine, Iowa.
		Survivors include three daughters, Adele Christensen and Mrs. 
William F. (Pearl M.) Wilson, both of Onawa and Mrs. David (Bernice) Halliday 
of Tarkio, Mo., two sons, Raymond of Grosse Pointe Woods, Mich. And Ralph of 
Onawa, one daughter-in-law, Mrs. Lawrence (Bethine) Christensen of Onawa, one 
sister, Martha Winstead of McLean, Ill., eighteen grandchildren, twenty-five 
great grandchildren, and seven great great grandchildren.
	She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one son, 
Lawrence, one daughter, Viola, one granddaughter, four brothers, and two 
sisters.
