Two years ago she was stricken with a dreaded disease but after an operation, she seemed to recover for a time, but several months ago she began to fail and all that medical science and loving care could do for her was done, but to no avail. She gradually slipped away to the Land from whence no one returneth. She was so hopeful all through her sickness and expressed the thought so many times that she wanted to get well as she had so much to live for and almost her last words were "I want to get well." She was patient in her suffering and was always cheerful, greeting everyone with a smile who came around her. She was a loving wife, devoted mother, and a true friend.
