"J" Obituaries - Truro, Madison Co., Iowa ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Jones, James B., Many hearts are sad and full of sympathy for the bereaved parents of James B. Jones, who passed from this life Thursday, March 2, in answer to his Master's call. He was in his twenty sixth year, and the oldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Theo. Jones. About five years ago he was taken with the paralysis and after much suffering was able to go round some but never regained his former health or strength. Jim was a kind hearted young man, whose bright and sunny nature helped him to bear all pain and sorrow without complaint. Although his life has been despaired of for some time past, death came so sudden that it was a shock to those around him. His voice which brought so much comfort to those in his home is now stilled forever, but God in his wisdom doeth all things well, and in this dark hour we still have his love and guidance to console our saddened lives. His faithful father remained with him continually during his illness. We know it was a solemn sight to witness the old and young who had known and loved him, coming to see the closing of that early grave, and pay the last respect to one who in life had been the friend and favorite of all. His last words were "Resting, sweetly resting in the arms of Jesus now. Kind parents, brothers and sister meet me in the home beyond."
