	J. Raymond Sullivan, 85, of Corning, Iowa, died on July 12, 1993, at 
Colonial Manor Nursing Home in Corning.
	
	Mr. Sullivan was born February 19, 1908 in Mercer Township, Adams 
County to Joseph R. and Maggie (Lynch) Sullivan.  He married Irene Farris 
October 21, 1940, in Corning.  Ellen (Robert) Seaton of Corning, a son, 
Richard (Patricia) Sullivan of Soldier, seven grandchildren and four great 
grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and two 
sisters.
