Atkinson-Carver, Married February 22nd, 1893 ------------------------------------------------------ Atkinson-Carver, Married at the residence of the bride'a parents Wednesday evening, February 22nd, 1893. Elton O. Atkinson to Mary Carver. Rev. E. P. Mitchner, officiated and with a short but impressive ceremony the vows were taken which unite these young people for life. The groom is one of our prosperous young farmers. The bride is the accomplished daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Caleb Carver. Quite a number of relatives and friends assembled to witness the happy event and partake of the bounteous hospitality of Mr. and Mrs. Carver. Among those present from a distance were as follows: Arthur Sidener and wife from Des Moines; F. W. Mitchner and wife, from New Sharon. Many useful and beautiful presents were left as tokens of regard from their friends. The bride and groom will soon be 'at home' on the Atkinson farm southwest of Truro.
