DILLON. Is located on the C. I. Ry. in Marshall county, 8 miles southeast
of Marshalltown (c h), which contains the nearest bank, and 46 in an air 
line northeast of Des Moines. The village has 200 inhabitants, a free school,
and the chief shipment is grain. Exp. , U.S. Tel, W.U. Mail, daily. 
D. H. Pemberton, postmaster.
