	James G. Mumper, 79, of Slater, Iowa died Tuesday, January 9, 1990 of 
a heart attack at Mary Greeley Medical Center.
	Memorial services were held on Thursday, January 11, at Slater 
Methodist Church and burial at the Slater Cemetery.
	James Mumper was born in Tabor to Charles Edwin and Jennie (Maxted) 
Mumper.   On May 20, 1930 he married Dorothy Muriel Darrah in Glidden.
	
	He is survived by his wife, Dorothy.
