Sept. 3, 1887, page 3 Rev. Arza. G. Parrish Rev. Parrish, publisher and editor of the Emerson, Iowa, Chronicle, died at his home in that place on Aug. 10, 1887, of typhoid fever. He was a brother of Ex-Postmaster Parrish of Stevensville, and was born in Royalton, this county, Oct. 23, 1845. he was ordained elder in 1878 by Bishop Peck. He was prominent in religious, business and social circles in his section and much esteemed, especially by Methodists, with who he was an active co-laborer. He leaves a wife—a native of Frankfort, Mich. –and four children. His brother here attended the funeral. Additional Comments: No relation (yet).
