And Mrs. William Galbreth, Mason City, Iowa, and former residents of St. Ansgar, Iowa, was married to John Van Deest, son of Mr. & Mrs. M. H. Van Deest of Rockford, IA at noon Saturday. The ceremony, which took place at the parsonage home, was performed by the bride's father. Attendants were Miss Fern Strand of Manly and W. Henry Galbreth of Hospers. The bride is a graduate of the Plymouth high school and the Hamilton College of Commerce. For the past 4 years, she has been employed as a stenographer in the office of the American Sugar Beet Company. She lived here with her parents when Rev. Galbreth was pastor of the Methodist church. The bridegroom is a graduate of Rockford, IA high school and attended Iowa State Teachers College. He is employed in Mason City by the Shell Petroleum Company. Mr & Mrs. Van Deest will make their home in Mason City, Iowa. Additional Comments: Specific wedding date was not given.
