St. Ansgar, Iowa Enterprise January 2, 1946
   Miss Shirley Ione Knutson of Hollywood, California, daughter of Mr. & Mrs. 
Otto Knutson of St. Ansgar, Iowa, became the bride of Francis C. Boggess, son 
of Mr. & Mrs. Cecil Boggess of Charleston, West Virginia.
   The wedding took place January 2, 1946 at the Methodist church at Spring 
Hill, with the Rev. R. A. Atkinson officiating.  They were attended by Miss 
Violet Boggess and L.A. Wittington, sister and brother-in-law of the 
bridegroom. 
   The bride wore a pale green suit with pink and brown accesories and a pink 
rosebud corsage.  She was given in marriage by Willard Johnson of Charleston.
   Mr. Boggess has enrolled at the Pittsburgh Dental School and his bride will 
reside at Charleston with his parents.  Mrs. Boggess, prior to her marriage, 
had been employed at a defense plant in California for the past 4 1/2 years.
