B. Price announce the marriage of their daughter, Miss Thelma, to Mr. C. V. Carter of Osage, Iowa which took place Saturday, May 21, 1932, in Marshalltown, Iowa. The Rev. C. C. Bacon of the Methodist Church officiated. The bride, who was attired in white and carried a bouquet of tea roses, was attended by Miss Merle Matteson of Minneapolis, MN. F. G. Carter of Marshalltown was best man. Following the ceremony the couple came to St. Ansgar where a dinner was given in their honor Sunday at the Price home. Table decorations were lavendar sweet peas and lilies of the valley. Mrs. Carter is one of St. Ansgar's most popular young ladies. She is a graduate of St. Ansgar high school and holds a B. A. degree from Iowa State Teachers College, Cedar Falls, IA. For the past 3 years, she has been a successful teacher at Latimer and West Bend, IA. Mr. Carter is a graduate of Osage High and the Teacher's College. For 3 years he has taught high school at Claremont and has now accepted a similar position at Maynard. After a wedding trip through northern Minnesota and Canada, the Carters will be at home at Maynard, Iowa.
