OBITUARY: Grace Cecil, Mitchell Co., Iowa [ St. Ansgar Enterprise, 27 DEC 1979 ] Grace Elaine Musel Cecil [1944-1979] Funeral services for Mrs. Phillip Cecil, 35, of St. Ansgar, who died December 19 as the result of a highway accident north of St. Ansgar, were held December 22 at the St. Ansgar United Methodist church with the Rev. Bruce Wittern officiating. Grace Elaine Musel was born April 22, 1944 in Spring Valley, Minn., the daughter of Albert and Ella Musel. She graduated from Spring Valley high school in May of 1962, and on December 1, 1962, married James Phillip Cecil in Spring Valley. Five children were born to them. The Cecil family enjoyed sharing together in camping and with their CB friends. Mrs. Cecil was a member of the St. Ansgar United Methodist church, and was employed at the St. Ansgar Good Samaritan Center. The Cecil family had lived in or near St. Ansgar since her marriage. Mrs. Cecil was preceded in death by her grandparents and a brother, Richard. She is survived by her husband, James Phillip; their five children, Jane, Jean, Jeff, Jill and Joel, all at home; her parents; her brothers and sisters, Robert, Arlene, Mary, Jane Marjorie, Roger, Ruth, Raymond, Carol, and Twins, Jim and Joel; also many other relatives and friends.
