OBITUARY: Jack C. Griffith, Mitchell County, Iowa Jack C. Griffith [c1922-1979] [St. Ansgar Enterprise, 22 NOV 1979] Funeral services for Jack C. Griffith, 57, of Harrisburg, Penn., who died at a Harrisburg hospital Friday, Nov. 16, were held Tuesday, November 20 at the First Lutheran church here with the Rev. Stephen Engelstad officiating. Mr. Griffith was the owner of Jetson Manufacturing Co. in Harrisburg. Penn., and was formerly Agency Manager for Bankers Life of Iowa in Harrisburg. He had served as president of his church council, superintendent of the adult church Sunday School, and was active in civic affairs. He was a former Mason City resident. He is survived by his wife, Edith; two daughters, Mrs. David (Janis) Lueking of Austin, Ind. and Mrs. Larry (Claudia) Krissinger of Clarksville, Tenn., three grandchildren, Mark, Daniel and Amanda; two brothers, Donald of Des Moines and Richard of Waterloo; nieces and nephews. Burial was in the First Lutheran cemetery here, with the Rev. Engelstad in charge of committal services. Military honors were presented by Walter T. Enneberg Post 358 of the American Legion.
