OBITUARY: Marlin Hanson, Mitchell County, Iowa

               Marlin Hanson   [1924-1994]

NORTHWOOD - Marlin Hanson, 69, of Northwood, died Monday (June 20, 1994)
at home.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at First Lutheran Church, with
the Rev. Mark Bents officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Rest Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 tonight at Schroeder and Sites Funeral Home,
and one hour prior to services Friday at the church.

Mr. Hanson was born Oct. 31, 1924, at Chicago, Ill.

Survivors include his wife Haruko of Northwood; four daughters, Rita
Sylvester, Irvine, Calif., Sharon Cramer, Tucson, Ariz., Kathy Fowler,
Smithville, N.J., and Diana DeCarlo, Mystic, Conn.; one son, James Wilson
of Lusby, Md; one siser, Shirley Lind, Rochester, Minn.; one brother,
Richard Hanson, Northwood; seven grandchildren; and three
great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
