OBITUARY: Mary Hansen, Mitchell County, Iowa Mary (nee Mostek) Hansen [1909-1979] [ St. Ansgar Enterprise, 4 OCT 1979 ] Funeral services for Mary Hansen, 70, who died September 22 were held Wednesday, September 26 at First Lutheran Church here, with the Rev. Stephen Engelstad officiating. Mary (nee Mostek) Hansen was born April 23, 1909 in Racine, Wis. the daughter of Joseph and Anna Mostek. Mary was united in marriage to Axel Christian Hansen September 28, 1930. They established their home in St. Ansgar. She was a member of the First Lutheran church in St. Ansgar. Mrs. Hansen is survived by a daughter, Mrs. James (Judy) Wilson of Mankato, Minn.; two sons, Axel Jr. and Gerald of St. Ansgar; and five grandchildren, all of St. Ansgar. She was preceded in death by her husband, two daughters, her parents, a sister and a brother. Burial was in the St. Ansgar cemetery with the Rev. Stephen Engelstad in charge of committal services.
