OBITUARY: Margaret Mary Heimer, Mitchell County, Iowa

Margaret Mary Heimer [1921-1979]

Funeral services for Mrs. Margaret Heimer, 58, who died at North Memorial
Medical Center in Minneapolis Thursday, July 12, were held Monday, July 16 at the
St. Ansgar Catholic Church with the Rev. John P. Smith officiating.

Margaret Mary Heimer was born June 25, 1921 in Paulding County, Ohio, the daughter
of August and Valentine (nee Rogers) DeFriend.  She was employed by Zayre
Shoppers City in Brooklyn Center, Minn., and previously at the Gambles Store in
St. Ansgar.

Mrs. Heimer is survived by her son, Albert of St. Ansgar; two daughters, Mrs.
Donald (Mary Ann) Hollatz of Mason City and Mrs. Gary (Marjorie Jean) Dahle, Minneapolis;
two brothers, Rene DeFriend of Mason City and Francis DeFriend of Chicago,
Ill.; also four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Albert Sr.

Burial was in the St. Ansgar Cemetery with Rev. Smith in charge of committal
services.
