OBITUARY: Lloyd E. Johnson, Mitchell County, Iowa [ Mitchell County Press online at www.mcpress.com 6/5/2001 ] Lloyd E. Johnson [1925-2001] Funeral services were held Thursday, May 31, 2001 for Lloyd E. Johnson, age 76, of Sheboygan, WI. Rev. James Sheldon officiated and interment was in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Sheboygan, WI. He died Saturday, May 26, 2001 at Osage Rehabilitation and Health Center, Osage. Lloyd was born Feb. 28, 1925 in Rockford, IL to Oscar and Esther Bourman Johnson. He attended Rockford, IL area schools. On Jan. 13, 1951 he was united in marriage to Marion Engelhardt in Sheboygan. The couple was married for 32 years before Marion preceded him in death on May 17, 1983. Lloyd was the former owner of City Taxi Co. He was also the owner of the former Johnson General Hauling. Lloyd was an avid fisherman. Preceding him in death was his parents; his wife; his sister, Arlene Benson; two brothers, Warner and Laverne W. Johnson; and a niece and a nephews. Those that survive him include two children, Robert (Nina Faye) Johnson, Osage and Debra (Roger) Bean of Sheboygan; six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Dorothy (Melvin) Anderson of Ovido, FL and Betty (Roger) Stolequist, Rockford, IL; thirteen nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Gloria Stolper of Sheboygan, WI. ************************************************************** Copyright (c) 2001 by Kermit Kittleson.
