OBITUARY: Sandra S. (Brandau) Krull, Mitchell County, Iowa [ Mitchell County Press online at www.mcpress.com 6/5/2001 ] Sandra S. (Brandau) Krull [1941-2001] Funeral services were held Tuesday, June 5, 2001 at the Eden Presbyterian Church, 3105 Glass Ave., Rudd, Iowa, for Sandy Krull, age 59, of Glendale, WI, formerly of rural Rudd. Rev. John Bates officiated and interment was in the Eden Presbyterian Cemetery. Champion-Bucheit Funeral Home, Osage, in charge of arrangements. She died Friday, June 1, 2001 at her home under Hospice Care after a 20-year battle with cancer. Sandy was born Sept. 29, 1941 the daughter of Clinton J. and Dorothy M. (Brandau) Brandau. Sandy graduated from Osage Community High School in 1962. She was united in marriage to Marvin Krull on Nov. 23, 1962 at the Eden Presbyterian Church, north of Rudd. They made their home in rural Rudd. The couple were blessed with two sons and one daughter. Sandy enlightened the world with her love for many children, grandchildren and nursing home residents as a CNA. She and her husband moved to the Milwaukee area in 1993. Even though the battle with cancer was long and hard, she had a zest for life and perceived every day as a gift. Preceding her in death were her maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J.H. Brandau and paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. John Brandau. Those that survive her include her parents, Clinton and Dorothy Brandau of Osage; her husband, Marvin Krull of Glendale, WI; one daughter, Pam Carman and her husband, Eric of Whitefish Bay, WI and two sons, Sam and Zach; two sons, Marlan Krull and friend Denise Petersen of Mason City and two sons, B.J. and Jordan; Ken Krull and wife, Christine Schrage of Phoenix, AZ and son Carter Schrage. ************************************************************** Copyright (c) 2001 by Kermit Kittleson.
