OBITUARY: Benjamin F. Naber, Mitchell County, Iowa (St. Ansgar Enterprise, St. Ansgar, Iowa; 5 MAR 1992 ) Benjamin F. Naber [c1904-1992] Surnames: Naber, Garbes, Epple, Crowley, Like, Burnett Benjamin F. Naber, 88, of New Hartford, died Friday, February 14 [1992] at home. Survivors include his wife, Lillian; two daughters, Prudence Naber of Cedar Falls and Joyce Burnett of Aurora, Oregon; 10 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; four brothers, Peter of Baldwin, KS; Wally of Dunellen, Florida; Orville of California; and Orman of Las Vegas, Nevada; and three sisters, Grace Epple, Muscoda, Wisc.; Lucy Crowley of Waterloo and Pearl Like, Aerdale. He was preceded in death by a son, Sylvan; a daughter, Delores Garbes; a grandson and a great grandson. Services were at Cedar Falls with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery, New Hartford. Mr. Naber and his wife were in the ranching business from 1925-34 in Montana; from 1935 until retiring they farmed and were in agricultural related businesses; they moved to Florida after retirement and he was a builder and developer there. Mr. Naber was a St. Ansgar resident from 1946 to 1961. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and one sister.
