OBITUARY: Debra Jean Rosenberg, Mitchell County, Iowa (St. Ansgar Enterprise, St. Ansgar, Iowa; 30 JAN 1992 ) Debra Jean Rosenberg Funeral services for Debra Jean Rosenberg, 41, who died January 21, [1992] were held January 24 at United Methodist Church with the Rev. Robert Lemmermann officiating. Debra was born August 5, 1951 in Waterloo to Robert E. Myers and Norma J. (Hird) Myers Burkle. She grew up in the Waterloo area graduating from West High School in 1969. She then attended Hawkeye Institution of Technology, Waterloo, graduating in the respiratory therapy program. She worked at Allen Hospital, Waterloo, in the respiratory therapy department until 1982. She worked at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital, Mason City for over a year. Deb married Randy R. Rosenberg august 7, 1981. She was especially fond of collecting dolls and Rockwell plates. She was preceded in death by her mother, Norma Jean Burkle. She is survived by her husband, Randy of St. Ansgar; two daughters, Donna and Christine McDermott, St. Ansgar; one step daughter, Charissa Rosenberg, St. Ansgar; one step son, Shane Rosenberg, St. Ansgar; father Robert Myers of Waterloo; step mother Dorothy Myers of Waterloo; three sisters, Mrs. Gary (Marcia D.) Bartels of Waterloo; Mrs. Ryan (Joan M.) Willett of Waterloo; Mrs. Steve (Nancy A.) Randall of Waterloo; half brothers Ron and James Lynott, both of Waterloo; one half sister, Tina Tyler of Waterloo. Burial was in the First Lutheran Cemetery, St. Ansgar. (Previously printed death announcement) (St. Ansgar Enterprise, St. Ansgar, Iowa; 23 JAN 1992 ) Debra Rosenberg, 40, St. Ansgar, wife of Randy Rosenberg, was killed early Tuesday morning as she was returning from working the third shift at the hospital in Mason City. The Rosenberg vehicle crosses the center line and hit the back dual wheels of a semi-trailer two miles west of the St. Ansgar corner on Highway No. 9. Rosenberg's husband, Randy, is stationed in Fort Lewis, Missouri. She is the mother of Christine and Donna McDermott and has been staying with her mother-in-law, Barb Rosenberg, St. Ansgar.
