OBITUARY: Lillian Schroeder, Mitchell County, Iowa

       Lillian Schroeder Funeral Held at Osage September 10

Funeral services for Mrs. Lillian Schroeder, 79, of Osage,  who died at the
Mitchell County Memorial Hospital September 7, were held at Our Savior's Lutheran
church in Osage September 10 with the Rev. Kit B. Belk officiating.

Lillian Josephine Winer was born November 22, 1899 in Mitchell County, the daughter
of Charles and Dora (Berenz) Winer.  She married Alvin Schroeder May 22, 1921.  They
established their home on a farm near St. Ansgar, and then moved to a farm near
Little Cedar in 1932.  In 1951 they moved to Osage.

Mrs. Schoeder is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Marion (Mildred) Young, two sons,
Rudolph and Virgil, all of Osage; six grandchildren, six great grandchildren;
her mother Mrs. Dora Schmidt and a sister, Mrs. Ed (Thelma) Ahlf of St. Ansgar.

She was preceded in death by her husband, father, and three grandchildren.

Burial was in Liberty cemetery, Little Cedar, with Rev. Belk in charge of
the committal services.
