OBITUARY: John 'Joe' Silver, Mitchell County, Iowa

        John 'Joe' Silver [1932-2001]

Funeral services were held today, Wednesday, August 1, 2001 at 10:30 a.m. at
Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Osage, for John 'Joe' Silver, age 68, of Osage,
with Father Patrick Geary officiating. Interment will be in the Sacred Heart
Cemetery, Osage. Champion-Bucheit Funeral Home, Osage, is in charge of
arrangements. Visitation on Tuesday evening, at the funeral home with a
Scripture Service at 7 p.m. Joe died Sunday, July 29, 2001 at his residence
in Osage.

Joe was born December 8, 1932 in Afton Township, Howard County, the son of
John and Julie (Dunn) Silver.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

Those that survive him include his sister, Jean Silver of Osage.
