OBITUARY: Eleanor R. Allen, Mitchell County, Iowa

               Eleanor R. (Evans) Allen

Memorial services will be held Wednesday, October 17, 2001 at 1:30 p.m. at
the First Lutheran Church, St. Ansgar, for Eleanor Ruth Allen, age 90, of
St. Ansgar. Visitation was Monday evening, Oct. 15 at the church. Burial
was held Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2001 at the Cedar Hill Cemetery, Albion Township,
Howard County.

Eleanor died Thursday, Oct. 11, 2001 at the Good Samaritan Center, St. Ansgar.

Eleanor was born Nov. 11, 1910 to Herbert and Lorena (Goetsch) Evans in Bonair,
Iowa. She married Dr. E.K. Allen.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband; and two sisters.

Those that survive her include one daughter, Marveen Minish and her husband,
Robert of Minneapolis, MN; one granddaughter, Roberta Moeschter and her
husband, James of Lino Lakes, MN; one great-granddaughter, Nichole Moeschter;
and one sister, Esther Schuldt of Mementor, OH; four nieces and two nephews.

Schroeder and Sites Funeral Home, St. Ansgar, were in charge of arrangements.
