OBITUARY: Elamander Adson Ball, Mitchell County, Iowa Elamander Adson Ball [1881-1907] Elamander Adson Ball, son of Brinsley and Sarah Ball, was born in Mitchell County, Iowa, March 19, 1881, and died at the residence of his parents, on Sunday morning, April 7th aged 26 years. For some time he has been employed by the Iowa Dairy Supply Co. of Waterloo, Iowa. Some weeks ago he was attacked by what he deemed was ear ache, it developed into a severe abcess; three weeks ago, he came to his father's home for care and treatment. Sunday he seemed improved but the change came later that ended in his death on Sunday at 9 o'clock a.m. His death came as a surprise to his friends, many of whom are in sorrow, with his parents; at his early demise. The funeral services were held at the residence of his parents on Oak Street in ths city, Monday, April 8th at 2 o'clock conducted the Rev. F. P. Shaffer of the Methodist church.
