OBITUARY: Edna M. Gulliver Blandin, Mitchell County, Iowa [ Mason City Globe Gazette Online Obituaries ] Sunday, June 6, 1999 EDNA M. BLANDIN STACYVILLE - Edna M. Blandin, 91, of Stacyville, formerly of Osage, died Saturday (June 5, 1999) at Stacyville. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Champion Funeral Home, Osage, with the Rev. Robert Melhorn officiating. Burial will be in the Osage Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the funeral home on Tuesday. Edna was born April 15, 1908, at Osage, the daughter of George and Anna (Pierce) Gulliver. She attended Osage schools and graduated from Osage High School. She was employed at Mitchell County Memorial Hospital in Osage for 27 years, working as an aide in the nursery taking care of newborn babies. Survivors include one daughter, Colleen Kloberdanz of Osage; one sister, Evelyn Overturf of Cartersville, Ill.; four grandchildren, Nancy Kloberdanz of Washington, D.C., Brian Kloberdanz and wife, Susan, of St. Charles, Ill., Joan Hoagland and husband, David, of Mapleton, and Dianne Klinker and husband, William, of Primghar; six great-grandchildren, Abby Kloberdanz, Katie Hoagland, Laura Hoagland, Thor Klinker, Knute Klinker, and Gunnar Klinker. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, three sisters, one son-in-law, and one grandson.
