OBITUARY: Henry Albert Dynes, Mitchell County, Iowa Henry A. Dynes [1892-1962] DYNES, HENRY A. 70, DIES; FUNERAL AT RICEVILLE MONDAY Funeral services were held Monday morning at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Riceville for Henry A. Dynes, 70, who died last Friday at his home. Death was caused by a heart attack. The Rev. Joseph W. Bohr, church pastor, was in charge of the services. Burial was in the Calvary cemetery. Henry Albert Dynes was born May 14, 1892, in Jenkins township, Mitchell County, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Valentine Dynes. He was baptized at the Riceville Catholic church in infancy, and received his education in the rural schools of the county and at Cedar Valley seminary in Osage. He was married to Ione Teeple, Sept. 28, 1949 at Riceville. He continued to farm in Jenkins Township. Mr. Dynes was a veteran of World War I, and was a member of the American Legion. His wife, Ione, survives, as do two sisters, Mrs. Henry Fox of Elma and Mrs. Allie Jahnel of Osage; two brothers, Joseph and William of Riceville. His parents and one sister preceded him in death.
