OBITUARY: FELDT, Lloyd [1913 - c1964], Mitchell County, Iowa FELDT, Lloyd Funeral Held For Lloyd Feldt, 52. Funeral Services were held Friday afternoon at St. John's Lutheran church in Rock Township for Lloyd Feldt, 52, who died last Wednesday morning of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Mr. Feldt had been admitted to the Iowa Mental Health Institute in Independence, Oct. 12. He was released Nov. 22. He had expressed the desire to return to the institute the day prior to his death and arrangements were being made for his admission. The Rev. Elmer Jacobs, church pastor, was in charge of the funeral and arrangements were by Schroeder and Houg in St. Ansgar. Burial was in the church cemetery. Lloyd Albert Feldt was born April 8, 1913, in Rock township Mitchell County, the son of Charles and Lena Feldt. He was baptized in infancy and confirmed at Immanuel Lutheran church in St. Ansgar by the Rev. Mr. Brammer. He was married July 16, 1938, to Freda Dieterich at Toeterville. They made their home on the John Tabbert farm, which they later bought. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother. Included as survivors are his wife Freda; two sons, Larry and Dale; one daughter, Kathy; one grandson, David Allen Feldt; three sisters, Olga, Mrs. Albert Eidness; Verna, Mrs. Arnold Brown of Osage; and Caroline, Mrs. Floyd Kittelson.
