OBITUARY: Maria Herzog, Mitchell County, Iowa

                              Maria Herzog

Maria Herzog, age 89, of Augsburg, Germany, died October 4, 2001 at a
hospital there. Funeral services were held October 9, 2001 at the Catholic
Church in Augsburg, Germany.

Maria was born Sept. 12, 1912 in Augsburg, Germany. 

She had three children, two daughters and one son including; Erna Jauer of
Augsburg, Germany and Freida Krahenbuhl of Osage, IA and Ervin Herzog of
Augsburg, Germany. Her local grandchildren include Sheila Olsen and her
husband, Jay of Osage and their family, Amber, Autumn, Ashley and Trevor;
and LeRoy Krahenbuhl and wife of Savage, MN.
