OBITUARY: William Horn, Mitchell County, Iowa William Horn 1854-1924 FORMER CITIZEN PASSED AWAY Remains of Wm. Horn Brought Here From Dickens, Iowa, Last Saturday for Burial William Horn was born Nov. 24, 1854, in Rock county Wis. and passed away at Dickens, Iowa Feb. 27, 1924, aged 69 years, 3 months and 3 days. While a young man he learned the carpenter trade and later took a course in architecture at Janesville, Wis., and followed this business all his life. From Janesville he came to Osage, Iowa, and lived here three years; then moving to Marshalltown where he worked at his trade six years, then going to Alzada, Mont. The last five years he has lived at Dickens with his nephew, Elmer Flint, and family. Mr. Horn was next to the youngest of a family of thirteen children, three of whom survive him, two brothers - A. R. Horn of Walla Walla Wash., and Otto Horn of Salt Lake City, Utah; and one sister, Mrs. Mary Flint of Osage. His remains were brought to Osage Saturday, Rev. J. I.
