OBITUARY: Deacon F. Peck, Mitchell County, Iowa Deacon F. Peck (April 1901) Last Monday night Deacon F. Peck died at his home in San Diego, California. We are not in possession of particulars relating to this good man's demise but were apprised of the fact through a letter from his son, Dr. A. E. Peck of Minneapolis. Deacon Peck was a familiar figure in the history of Osage. He and Mrs. Peck left Osage a little over a year ago. The Deacon was of that kind and jolly disposition that made his presence always acceptable in the society of this friends and those who came in contact with him. The Congregational people will remember him especially for the long years of interest he took in that organization during its entire history in this community. The sympathy of the old home community was extended to Mrs. Peck in her far away California home.
