OBITUARY: Arminda E. Rappath Buechele, Mitchell County, Iowa

Funeral services were held Saturday, April 6, 2002 at Emmanuel Lutheran
Church in Grafton for Arminda Elizabeth Buechele, age 98, of Grafton. She
died Wednesday, April 3, 2002 at the Good Samaritan Center in St. Ansgar.
Rev. Wayne Ellingson officiated. Interment was in the Grafton Cemetery.

Arminda was born March 11, 1904 at Belgrade, MN, the daughter of Harry and
Minnie (Lutz) Rappath. She attended school at Belgrade, Eden Valley and
Minneapolis, MN. She was united in marriage to Emil Buechele on September
14, 1923 in Minneapolis. The couple moved to Grafton in 1926. She worked
in Walk's Store for over 25 years and was a faithful member of Emmanuel
Lutheran Church in Grafton.

Arminda was preceded in death by her parents, husband Emil in 1985; three
sisters, Hazel Gerstenkorn, Vera Bork, Elsie Rappath and a brother Bill
Rappath.

Survivors include a daughter Jane Buechele of Grafton; a sister Berneice
Maker (who made her home with the couple) and her husband Bob of Corvallis,
MT; a brother Rev. Harry Rappath and his wife Evelyn of Prescott, AZ;
several nieces and nephews.

Champion-Bucheit Funeral Home of Osage was in charge of arrangements.
