OBITUARY: Louis E. Folkestad, Mitchell County, Iowa

Memorial services were held Saturday, April 6, 2002 at Oak Grove Cemetery,
Mitchell, IA, for Louis E. Folkestad, 77, who died Wednesday, April 3, 2002
at Missouri Rehab Center in Mt. Vernon, MO.

Louis was born May 22, 1924 in Albert Lea, MN to Edward A. and June (Russell)
Folkestad. He married Fern Tabor Dec. 11, 1943. They were married 58 years. 

Folkestad worked as an appraiser and was a member of the Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Fern, of Grove. OK; one daughter Lori Ann
Daughtrey, Fort Belvoir, VA and four grandchildren, Nicholas, Aaron, Adam
and Cayley.

Ellis Family Funeral Home of Grove, OK were in charge of arrangements.
