OBITUARY: Albert George Frese, Mitchell County, Iowa (1966) A. G. FRESE, 76 OF OSAGE DIED Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at Trinity Lutheran Church, Osage, for Albert Frese, 76, who died at his home June 23. (1966) The Rev. Edward M. Lang pastor, was in charge of the service. C. R. Champion and Sons were in charge of arrangements and burial was in the Osage cemetery. Albert George Frese, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Frese, was born in Mitchell County on Feb. 22, 1889. He was baptized at St. John's Lutheran church south of Osage, March 24, 1889, and was confirmed there April 17, 1904. He was united in marriage Aug. 31, 1913, to Minnie Groth in St. Ansgar. They farmed west of Osage on Highway 9 for almost 50 years, moving to Osage in March, 1963. Mr. Frese was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Theodore. Survivors include his wife, one brother, Herb Frese, and one sister, Mrs Alma Ahrens, both of Osage.
