OBITUARY: Dorothy L. Hulshizer, Mitchell County, Iowa [ St. Ansgar Enterprise Journal online -- posted June 7, 2002 ] Dorothy Hulshizer Funeral June 1 Funeral services for Dorothy L. Hulshizer, 83, who died on May 28, 2002, at the Oregon Health Center, Oregon, Illinois, were held on Saturday, June 1 at Schroeder & Sites Funeral Home with the Rev. Richard Bonney officiating. Dorothy was born on November 14, 1918 in Floris, Iowa, to Perle and Cora (Copeland) Greiner. She married Harold Hulshizer on December 21, 1940 at the Little Brown Church in the Vale. Dorothy is survived by her husband Harold of 62 years; son, Fred Hulshizer of Madison, Illinois; daughter, Carolyn (Donald) Welsh of Chana, Illinois; grandchildren: Bill (Janice) Welsh of Golden, Colorado; Denise Welsh of Phoenix, Arizona; Natasha (Michael) Lovings of Beaver Dam, Wisconsin; Bronwyn (Michael) Anthony of Mt. Horeb, Wisconsin; daughter-in-law Katie Hulshizer of Richland Center, Wisconsin; great grandchildren, Mark and Brett Anthony; Griffin Lovings; brother James Greiner; sisters, Ruth (Lawrence) Beltz; Hazel (Harold) Petznick; Faye (Don) Severson; Louise (Earl) Kirchgatter. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Freddie, Louis, William, Joseph, Robert and Verlin Greiner; sisters Mary Greiner, Mildred Greiner, Inez Huber, Mabel Severson and Mae Petznick; grandson, Craig Welsh.
