OBITUARY: Jackie Jean Johanns, Mitchell County, Iowa Jackie Jean Johanns [ Mitchell County Press online -- Posted July 10, 2002 www.mcpress.com ] Funeral services were held Tuesday, July 9, 2002 for Jackie Jean Johanns, age 17, of Osage at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Osage. The Reverend Philip Recker officiated. Interment was in the St. Peter's Catholic Cemetery in New Haven. She died Friday, July 5, 2002, at Mercy Medical Center North Iowa in Mason City of injuries she received in an auto accident. Jackie was born in Osage on March 13, 1985, the daughter of Tim Johanns and Nancy (Brooker) Milbrandt. She was a student at the Osage High School. Jackie enjoyed music, writing poems and being with her friends. Jackie was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather Leonard Johanns, paternal great-great grandfather Paul Johanns, paternal great-grandmother Arlene Boyer, maternal great-grandparents Jesse and Marjorie Brooker and maternal great-grandparents Leo and Charlotte Comisky. Jackie is survived by her father, Tim Johanns of Osage, mother, Nancy Milbrandt and her husband Mark of Osage, sister, Jessie Johanns of Osage, two brothers, Jeremie Johanns of Minneapolis, MN and Taylor Johanns of Russell, IA, paternal grandmother, Bonnie Johanns of Charles City, paternal great-grandfather, Lyle Boyer of Charles City, paternal great-grandmother, Elizabeth Johanns of Osage, maternal grandparents, Dean and Maureen Brooker of Osage and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
