OBITUARY: Golda F. Donnor McPhail, Mitchell County, Iowa

Funeral services for Golda F. McPhail, age 95, of Osage were held Saturday,
April 13 at Champion-Bucheit Funeral Home in Osage with Rev. Karen Nichols
Dungan officiating. Interment was in Little Cedar Cemetery.

Golda died April 10 at Faith Lutheran Home in Osage. She was born Feb. 25,
1907 in Mitchell County, the daughter of George W. and Mabel (Jester)
Donnor. She attended Little Cedar School. Golda was married to Reed McPhail
on Sept. 13, 1924. They lived in Mitchell County all their married life.

Preceding her in death were her parents, husband Reed in 1977; one sister
Allene Roehr and two granddaughters.

She is survived by two daughters, Marla Rosel and husband George of Cedar
Rapids, Judith Ann Fletcher and her husband Bob of Katy, TX; three sons
Robert McPhail and his wife Louise of Osage, Darrell McPhail and his wife
Evelyn of San Diego, CA, Richard McPhail and his wife Ruth of Austin, TX;
15 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and 14 great-great-grandchildren.

Champion - Bucheit Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
