OBITUARY: Mildred "Milly" Moore, Mitchell County, Iowa Mildred "Milly" Randall Moore [Mitchell County Press News online -- Posted May 15, 2002] Funeral services for Mildred Mae Moore, age 71, of Riceville were held Tuesday, May 14 at the United Methodist Church in Riceville. Rev. Michael Carey officiated. Burial was at the Osage Cemetery in Osage, IA. Mildred died at her home in Riceville May 10, 2002 after an extended illness. Moore was born in Sheffield, IA on Nov. 1, 1930 the daughter of Roy and Minnie Fistler Randall. The family moved to Osage where “Milly” attended school and graduated from Osage High School in 1949. She was united in marriage July 10, 1949 to Charles Moore at the First Baptist Church in Osage. She was active in her church teaching Bible School, Sunday School and belonged to the First Baptist Ladies’ circle. Charles and Mildred moved to New Haven and then to a farm by Riceville. "Milly" worked with her husband "Chuck" farming and was a devoted mother and homemaker. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Riceville where she taught Sunday School. She belonged to United Methodist Women's group and the evening circle. “Milly” was preceded in death by her father and one brother Merle. Survivors include her mother Minnie Randall of Osage; husband Charles "Chuck" Moore of Riceville; a son Ed Moore and wife Luann of Riceville; one daughter Barbara Voight and husband Marvin of Osage; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and three brothers, Ransom Randall and wife Katie of Cedar Rapids; Earl Randall and wife Jan of Waterloo; David Randall and wife Dorothy of Osage; four sisters, Ruth Molstad and Rose Tobin both of Mason City; Doris Erickson and husband Dale of Minneapolis and Bev Boehmer and husband Ed of Osage; many nieces and nephews.
