OBITUARY: Myron Byrl Morrison, 1895-c1965, Mitchell County, Iowa [Source: Mitchell County Press-News or Mason City Globe Gazette] FUNERAL TUESDAY FOR M. B. MORRISON, 70 Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Christian Missionary Alliance church in Osage for a long time Mitchell county resident, M. B. Morrison, 70, who died Friday at his home in Osage. The Rev. Melvin Hall, former pastor of the Osage Alliance church, now of St. Paul, was in charge of the services. C. R. Champion and Sons made the arrangements and burial was in the Osage Cemetery. Myron Byrl Morrison was born June 14, 1895, in Unionville, the son of William and Essa B. Morrison. He was graduated from high school and was a member of the Methodist church in Unionville. He was married to Verna Wamsley in 1915. His entire adult life was spent in farming. They retired in 1964. Mr. Morrison was an active member of the Christian and Missionary Alliance church. He is survived by his wife, Verna, of Osage; five children, Mrs. Eloise Ryan, Max and Donald of Osage, Mrs. Esther Kemp of Anaheim, Calif., and Paul Dean Morrison of Lake Wood, Calif.; 19 grandchildren; brothers, James and Wayne of Chicago and Richard of Morvavia and one sister, Mrs. Enid Herman of Lakeworth, Fla.
