OBITUARY: Dianne Irene Muller Lowe 1946-2002, Mitchell County, Iowa [Mitchell County Press-News, online, www.mcpress.com, Posted Oct. 16, 2002] Dianne Irene Lowe Funeral services were held Saturday, October 12 for Dianne Irene Lowe, 56, at the Hogan-Bremer-Moore Colonial Chapel in Mason City. The Rev. Paul Finger of St. Paul Lutheran Church officiated. Cremation followed the services with inurnment at a later date in the Manly Cemetery. Dianne died Thursday, Oct. 10, 2002 at the Good Shepherd Health Center in Mason City. The family requested that memorial contributions be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church in Mason City in her memory. Dianne Irene Lowe was born on Jan. 7, 1946, in Osage, the daughter of Mervin and Irene (Roberts) Muller. She received her education in the Orchard and Osage Community Schools. Dianne spent several years at Opportunity Village in Clear Lake. She was united in marriage to Don Lowe in 1979, in Jackson, SD. He preceded her in death in 1997. After their marriage they made their home in an apartment in Mason City and they both entered the Good Shepherd Health Center in Mason City in 1995. Dianne babysat for various families in the Mason City area and also loved and enjoyed children. She had a very strong faith and was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Mason. Preceding her in death were her mother Irene in 1971; husband, Don in 1997 and her sister Kay in 1995. Survivors include her father Mervin Muller and step-mother Phyllis Muller, both of Nora Springs; three step-brothers, Daryl Roberts of Omaha, NE, Jerry Roberts and Keith Roberts both of Britt; a step-sister Karen Roberts of Grapevine, TX; four step-grandchildren Leah, Sonja, Linda and Dustin, two step-great-grandchildren, several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
