                     Harold Glendon Schultheis

OSAGE - Harold Glendon Schultheis, 91, of Osage, died Thursday
(Sept. 4, 1997) at the Riceville Community Rest Home.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Sacred Heart
Catholic Church, with the Rev. Philip Recker officiating. Burial will
be in the Sacred Heart Cemetery.

Visitation will begin after 2:30 p.m. today at the Champion Funeral Home,
with a 3 p.m. rosary and a 7:30 p.m. Scripture service.

Harold Glendon Schultheis was born April 11, 1906, in Douglas Township,
Mitchell County.

Survivors include his wife, Erna Schultheis of Osage; two daughters,
Katheryn Schmuecker, Marion, and Lorraine Klaes, Osage; 22 grandchildren;
32 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two daughters and two brothers.
